1. Acceptance of These Terms
Welcome to Day One Firearms Training, operated by Day One Training Group LLC, doing business as Day One Firearms Training (“Day One Firearms Training,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, online services, registration systems, training programs, classes, instructional materials, products, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing our website, registering for a class, purchasing a product or service, submitting an inquiry, or participating in any Day One training or event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our website or Services.

Day One Firearms Training provides firearms education and training for informational, educational, and skills-development purposes.
Our instructors and staff are not acting as your attorneys, legal representatives, law-enforcement officers, or personal legal advisers.
Information concerning firearms laws, concealed carry, firearm ownership, transportation, storage, self-defense, use of force, or other legal matters is provided for educational purposes only and should not be considered legal advice.
Firearms laws can change and may vary based on federal, state, county, municipal, and other applicable laws.
You are solely responsible for determining the laws applicable to you and for complying with all applicable laws.
Nothing on the Day One Firearms Training website or in any Day One Firearms Training course guarantees that you are legally permitted to purchase, possess, carry, transport, use, or discharge a firearm.
4. Firearms Eligibility
Participation in a Day One Firearms Training course does not constitute a determination that a student is legally eligible to possess, purchase, carry, or use a firearm.
You are solely responsible for determining whether you are legally eligible to possess and use firearms under applicable federal, state, and local law.
You must not register for or participate in a firearms course if you know or reasonably believe that your participation, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, or handling of firearms would violate applicable law.
Day One Firearms Training may refuse, cancel, suspend, or terminate a student's participation when Day One Firearms Training reasonably believes that participation would create a safety concern or violate applicable law, range rules, company policy, or these Terms.
5. Course Eligibility and Requirements
Certain courses may have minimum age, identification, experience, equipment, physical, or other requirements.
Students are responsible for reviewing the requirements for the specific course before registering.
Unless otherwise expressly stated by Day One Firearms Training:
Students must provide accurate registration information.
Students must present valid identification when requested.
Students must follow all instructor, range, facility, and safety instructions.
Students must comply with all applicable laws.
Students must comply with all posted range and facility rules.
Students must disclose relevant information that an instructor reasonably needs to address an immediate safety concern.
Students must not participate while impaired by alcohol, controlled substances, intoxicating substances, or any condition that materially affects safe firearm handling.
Students must immediately notify an instructor of any unsafe condition, malfunction, injury, or other safety concern.
Day One Firearms Training reserves the right to deny participation to any person when reasonably necessary to protect students, instructors, staff, facilities, equipment, or the public.
6. Firearms Safety
Firearms are inherently dangerous instruments. Even with proper training and safety procedures, firearms training and live-fire activities involve risks of serious bodily injury, death, property damage, hearing damage, and other injuries.
Students must treat every firearm as though it is loaded unless otherwise instructed by a qualified instructor in a controlled training environment.
Students must follow all applicable firearm-safety rules and all instructions given by Day One Firearms Training instructors and range personnel.
Failure to follow safety instructions may result in immediate removal from the course without refund.
Day One Firearms Training may stop or modify a training activity whenever an instructor determines that doing so is reasonably necessary for safety.
7. Live-Fire Training and Range Activities
Some courses may involve live-fire exercises at a shooting range or other authorized facility.
By participating in a live-fire course, you acknowledge that the activity may involve risks associated with firearms, ammunition, shooting ranges, other participants, equipment, environmental conditions, and range operations.
Students must comply with all range rules and all instructions from Day One Firearms Training personnel and range personnel.
Range rules may impose additional requirements beyond these Terms.
If a range rule conflicts with a Day One Firearms Training instruction, students must immediately seek clarification from the instructor or range personnel before proceeding.
8. Alcohol, Drugs, and Impairment
No person may participate in firearms training while impaired.
Day One Firearms Training strictly prohibits participation while a person is impaired by alcohol, illegal drugs, controlled substances, medication, or any other substance or condition that could reasonably impair judgment, coordination, reaction time, perception, or safe firearm handling.
Day One Firearms Training may remove an impaired person from a course or facility immediately.
No refund is required for a student removed from a course because of impairment or unsafe conduct.
9. Instructor Authority and Removal from training
For safety reasons, Day One Firearms Training instructors have broad authority to stop an exercise, remove a firearm from a student's possession, suspend a student's participation, or remove a student from a training session.
A student may be removed for, among other things:
Unsafe firearm handling;
Failure to follow instructions;
Violation of range rules;
Violation of law;
Threatening, abusive, harassing, or disruptive conduct;
Suspected impairment;
Intentional disregard of safety procedures;
Providing false or materially misleading information;
Possessing prohibited items;
Conduct that creates an unreasonable risk to another person.
Removal from training may occur without refund where the student's conduct caused or contributed to the removal.
10. Course Completion and Certificates
Where a Day One Firearms Training course provides a certificate or other documentation of completion, issuance of that documentation is subject to the student's satisfying all applicable course requirements.
Payment for a course does not automatically establish course completion.
A certificate of completion is not a firearms license, permit, government approval, legal authorization, or guarantee of eligibility.
Where applicable, Day One Firearms Training may maintain records relating to student completion and firearms training as required by law or applicable regulatory requirements.
Florida law specifically provides that certain firearms safety or training courses may constitute evidence of firearm competence for purposes of a Florida concealed weapon or firearm license, provided statutory requirements are satisfied.
Day One Firearms Training does not guarantee that any governmental agency will approve, issue, renew, or recognize a license based solely upon a student's completion of a Day One Firearms Training course.
11. Registration and Payment
Registration is not complete until payment has been successfully processed, unless Day One Firearms Training expressly confirms otherwise.
You agree to provide accurate and complete billing and registration information.
You authorize Day One Firearms Training and its payment-processing providers to process applicable charges associated with your purchase.
Prices may be changed at any time before purchase. The price displayed at the time of completed purchase will generally apply to that transaction, subject to obvious pricing errors.
Day One Firearms Training may correct typographical, pricing, scheduling, or other errors.
12. Refunds, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
Course-specific cancellation and refund policies displayed during registration are incorporated into these Terms.
If no separate policy is provided, Day One Firearms Training may establish reasonable cancellation and rescheduling rules based upon the course, instructor availability, range fees, equipment requirements, and other operational considerations.
Students are responsible for arriving at the correct location, date, and time.
Failure to attend a scheduled course (“no-show”) may result in forfeiture of the course fee.
Late arrival may prevent participation in safety briefings or required portions of training. For safety reasons, Day One Firearms Training may refuse participation to a student who arrives too late to complete required instruction.
Any refund or credit is subject to the applicable course cancellation policy.
13. Course Changes and Cancellations by Day One Firearms Training
Day One Firearms Training reserves the right to modify, reschedule, relocate, or cancel a course because of circumstances including, but not limited to:
Instructor availability;
Range availability;
Weather;
Facility conditions;
Equipment issues;
Safety concerns;
Government restrictions;
Emergency conditions;
Insufficient enrollment; or
Other circumstances outside Day One Firearms Training's reasonable control.
When Day One Firearms Training cancels a course, Day One Firearms Training may offer a rescheduled date, course credit, or refund in accordance with the applicable course policy.
14. Student Equipment
Course descriptions will identify any equipment that students are required or permitted to bring.
Students are responsible for ensuring that their personally owned firearms, ammunition, holsters, magazines, eye protection, hearing protection, and other equipment comply with applicable laws and range requirements.
Day One Firearms Training may prohibit the use of equipment that an instructor reasonably determines is unsafe, defective, inappropriate for the course, or inconsistent with range rules.
Day One Firearms Training is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or malfunction of student-owned equipment except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Ammunition and Firearms
When a course requires students to provide firearms or ammunition, students are responsible for bringing lawful and appropriate equipment.
Day One Firearms Training may establish caliber, ammunition, firearm, magazine, holster, or equipment restrictions for particular courses.
Day One Firearms Training may refuse the use of ammunition or equipment that presents a safety concern.
Students must not bring prohibited firearms, ammunition, accessories, or other items to a Day One Firearms Training location or shooting range.
16. Personal Property
Students are responsible for their personal property.
Day One Firearms Training is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property unless otherwise required by law.
Students should avoid bringing unnecessary valuables to training sessions.
17. Physical Activity and Medical Considerations
Certain training activities may require standing, walking, lifting, movement, repetitive activity, or other physical exertion.
You are responsible for determining whether you are physically capable of safely participating.
If you have a condition or limitation that could affect your ability to safely participate, you should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before participating.
Day One Firearms Training does not provide medical advice or determine whether a student is medically fit for firearms training.
18. Assumption of Risk
By participating in Day One Firearms Training, you understand and acknowledge that firearms training and range activities involve inherent and unavoidable risks.
These risks may include, without limitation:
Accidental or unintended discharge;
Serious bodily injury;
Death;
Hearing damage;
Eye injury;
Burns;
Falls;
Injuries caused by firearms or ammunition;
Injuries caused by other participants;
Equipment failure;
Ricochet or projectile-related injuries;
Property damage;
Weather-related hazards;
Range-related hazards; and
Other risks associated with firearms and shooting activities.
You voluntarily assume the risks associated with your participation to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
19. Release and Waiver
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY FLORIDA LAW, you agree to release and hold harmless Day One Training Group LLC, Day One Firearms Training, its owners, members, managers, officers, employees, instructors, contractors, agents, representatives, affiliates, and participating facilities from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your participation in Day One Firearms Training Services, including firearms training and range activities, except to the extent caused by conduct that cannot lawfully be waived or released under applicable law.
This provision is intended to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive liability that cannot legally be waived.
20. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Day One Training Group LLC, Day One Firearms Training, and its owners, members, managers, officers, employees, instructors, contractors, agents, representatives, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:
Your violation of these Terms;
Your violation of applicable law;
Your negligent, reckless, intentional, or unlawful conduct;
Your misuse of a firearm or other equipment;
Your failure to follow safety instructions; or
Claims arising from your conduct toward another person.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Day One Firearms Training shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the website or Services.
To the extent permitted by law, Day One Firearms Training's total liability arising out of a particular purchase or service shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to Day One Firearms Training for that particular Service.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
22. Website Use
You agree to use the Day One Firearms Training website only for lawful purposes.
You may not:
Use the website to violate any law;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to website systems;
Interfere with website operations;
Introduce malicious code;

Educational materials provided to students are intended for the student's personal educational use and may not be redistributed or commercially reproduced without authorization.

Day One Firearms Training attempts to provide accurate and current information but does not warrant that website content, course descriptions, schedules, prices, legal information, or other materials will always be complete, accurate, current, or error-free.
Course dates, instructors, locations, pricing, equipment requirements, and other details may change.
You should confirm important information with Day One Firearms Training before relying upon it.

The Day One Firearms Training website may contain links to third-party websites, payment processors, scheduling platforms, shooting ranges, government agencies, or other services.
Day One Firearms Training does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, content, policies, security, availability, or practices.

Day One Firearms Training reserves the right to remove content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate.
29. Minors
Certain firearms training activities may have age restrictions imposed by law, the shooting range, the course, or Day One Firearms Training.
A parent or legal guardian may be required to provide consent for participation by a minor where permitted.
Day One Firearms Training reserves the right to require proof of age and/or parental or guardian authorization.
Nothing in these Terms authorizes a minor to possess, access, or use a firearm when prohibited by applicable law.
30. Compliance With Laws
You agree to comply with all applicable federal, state, county, municipal, range, and facility laws, rules, and regulations.
Firearms laws may change after the effective date of these Terms.
You are responsible for obtaining current legal information applicable to your circumstances.
Day One Firearms Training does not guarantee that information presented on the website or during a course reflects every current legal requirement applicable to every individual.
31. No Guarantee of Licensing or Legal Outcome
Day One Firearms Training does not guarantee:
Approval of a concealed weapon or firearm license;
Approval of a firearm purchase;
Eligibility to possess a firearm;
Eligibility to carry a firearm;
A particular legal outcome;
Acceptance of a certificate by a governmental agency;
Approval of an application;
Continued legality of any particular conduct; or
Any result from participating in a course.
Government agencies make their own licensing, permitting, eligibility, and regulatory determinations.
32. Intellectual Property
The Day One Firearms Training name, logos, branding, course materials, photographs, videos, graphics, written materials, website content, and other proprietary materials may constitute intellectual property owned by or licensed to Day One Firearms Training.
No ownership rights are transferred to you by purchasing or completing a course.
You may not reproduce or commercially distribute Day One Firearms Training instructional materials without prior written permission.
33. Force Majeure
Day One Firearms Training will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing its obligations when caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fire, governmental actions, emergencies, civil disturbances, range closures, equipment failures, labor disruptions, or other extraordinary circumstances.

Day One Firearms Training may update these Terms from time to time.
The updated Terms will become effective when posted to the website unless a different effective date is stated.
Your continued use of the website or Services after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
The version in effect on the date of your transaction or participation may govern that transaction or participation to the extent permitted by law.
35. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
36. No Waiver
A failure by Day One Firearms Training to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce that provision in the future.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent federal law controls.
38. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a formal legal action relating to the Services, the parties agree, to the extent permitted by law, to first attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally.
A party seeking to initiate a dispute should provide written notice describing the dispute and the requested resolution.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency or injunctive relief when necessary to protect legally protected rights or property.
39. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any applicable course-specific policies, waivers, registration terms, Privacy Policy, and other written agreements expressly incorporated into these Terms, constitute the agreement between you and Day One Firearms Training concerning the applicable Services.
If a separate written agreement is provided for a particular course or activity, that agreement may contain additional terms.
40. Electronic Acceptance
By clicking an acceptance checkbox, submitting an online registration, completing a purchase, signing electronically, or otherwise using the Services after being presented with these Terms, you acknowledge that your electronic acceptance constitutes your agreement to these Terms to the same extent as a handwritten signature, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Return and Refund Policy

Day One Training Group LLC D.B.A. Day One Firearms Training (“Day One,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to providing professional firearms training and related educational services. This Return and Refund Policy explains the terms applicable to cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, and purchases of training-related products and services.
By registering for, purchasing, or attending a Day One firearms training course, class, lesson, event, or related service, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law.
1. Training Course Cancellations by the Customer
Customers may request cancellation of a scheduled training course by providing written notice to Day One.
Unless a course-specific policy states otherwise:
Day One Firearms Training may make exceptions to these terms on a case-by-case basis for documented emergencies or other circumstances that, in Day One’s reasonable judgment, warrant an exception.
Nothing in this policy limits any cancellation or refund rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
2. Rescheduling
Customers who cannot attend their originally scheduled course should contact Day One Firearms Training as soon as possible.
When permitted, a customer may transfer enrollment to another available course date rather than receive a refund. Rescheduling is subject to:
A customer who repeatedly reschedules may be required to cancel the original registration and make a new registration.
3. Minimum Enrollment and Course Changes
Day One Firearms Training reserves the right to reschedule, modify, combine, or cancel a course when necessary because of insufficient enrollment, instructor availability, facility availability, equipment issues, weather, safety concerns, governmental restrictions, or other circumstances affecting the safe or practical operation of the course.
If Day One Firearms Training cancels a course, customers will generally be offered one of the following options:
Day One Firearms Training will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers as promptly as practicable.
4. Weather, Safety, and Range Closures
Firearms training involves activities that may be affected by weather, range conditions, equipment availability, and safety considerations.
If Day One Firearms Training determines that a course cannot safely proceed, the course may be postponed, relocated, or rescheduled. Customers affected by a Day One-initiated cancellation or postponement will generally be offered a transfer to another available date or a refund as described above.
A customer’s personal decision not to attend because of weather or other conditions, when the course remains scheduled and Day One Firearms Training has not canceled or postponed it, is treated as a customer cancellation and is subject to the applicable cancellation terms.
5. Late Arrival and Failure to Complete a Course
Customers are responsible for arriving at the required location at the designated time and being prepared to participate.
Late arrival may result in the customer being unable to participate in some or all portions of a course, particularly where safety, range rules, qualification requirements, or course prerequisites are involved.
No refund is guaranteed when a customer:
Day One Firearms Training may, at its discretion, offer a transfer to another course date when appropriate.
6. Safety-Related Removal or Refusal of Participation
Day One Firearms Training places safety above all other considerations.
Day One Firearms Training may refuse or discontinue a customer's participation when, in the reasonable judgment of Day One Firearms Training or its instructors, the customer:
Except where required by applicable law, removal or refusal of participation for safety or conduct reasons does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.
7. Course-Specific Policies
Certain courses, private lessons, events, packages, promotions, memberships, or specialty training programs may have cancellation and refund terms different from this general policy.
When a course-specific policy is provided to the customer before purchase, that policy will govern the applicable transaction to the extent permitted by law.
Customers are responsible for reviewing any course-specific terms before completing registration.
8. Private Lessons and Appointments
Private lessons and individually scheduled training appointments require instructor and facility time to be reserved specifically for the customer.

For firearms-training-related merchandise or other physical products sold by Day One, the applicable return terms will be disclosed at the time of purchase.

Where Florida law requires a particular refund, exchange, or notice procedure, Day One Firearms Training will comply with the applicable legal requirement. 10. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be processed within 10 business days after Day One Firearms Training approves the refund request.
Refunds will ordinarily be issued to the original payment method. Depending on the payment processor or financial institution, additional time may be required before the refund appears in the customer's account.
Day One Firearms Training is not responsible for delays caused by banks, credit-card companies, payment processors, or other third parties.
11. Non-Refundable Fees
Any fee identified as non-refundable at the time of purchase will not be refunded except where a refund is required by applicable law or Day One Firearms Training determines, in its discretion, that an exception is appropriate.
Examples may include certain administrative, processing, registration, reservation, or third-party fees.
Any non-refundable fee should be clearly disclosed to the customer before payment is completed.
12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact Day One Firearms Training directly to resolve questions concerning a charge, cancellation, or refund before initiating a payment dispute.
Nothing in this section is intended to limit a customer's rights under applicable law or the rules of the customer's payment provider.
13. Legal Compliance
This policy is intended to operate consistently with applicable federal, Florida, and local laws and regulations.
If any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the applicable legal requirement will control, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this policy waives or limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

The policy in effect at the time of a customer's purchase will generally apply to that transaction, unless otherwise required by law or agreed to in writing.
